You need a safety certificate when: selling your registered vehicle in Queensland, transferring registration to a new owner, transferring to Queensland registration from another state or territory, or re-registering an unregistered vehicle. The Safety Certificate is designed to keep vehicles on the road safe to avoid accidents caused by un-roadworthy and defective vehicles, offering buyer protection that the vehicle meets minimum safety standards.
During our mobile roadworthy inspection, we thoroughly check:

Steering and suspension - Lights and electrical systems
- Windscreen and windows
- Body and chassis integrity
- Seatbelts and seats
- Mirrors and visibility
- Exhaust and emissions system
We’ll give you a detailed report of exactly what needs fixing and why. Get the issues sorted with a mechanic of your choice, then rebook us for a re-inspection.
Our mobile roadworthy certificates are a fixed $139 for cars and light vehicles. Trailers are $139. That includes your full mobile inspection and certificate emailed on the spot.
We provide transparent pricing online with no hidden fees. Book a time and we’ll be there.
Important: If your inspection does not result in a pass, a call-out fee of $90 will apply for re-inspections within 14 days.
Most inspections take between 45-60 minutes depending on the vehicle type. The certificate is emailed to you on the spot as soon as the inspection is complete.
